The country house La casa dei Cavalli (The House of the Horses), is a comfortable farmhouse built in 13th century and renovated in 2006 with precious, original materials and high quality furniture. The farmhouse is divided into ten apartments of different dimensions, each one is composed of a living room with an open kitchen, a double room and a bathroom. The country house is surrounded by green fields of cherry and walnut , vineyards and olive groves, and the spectacular view is characterized by the typical landscape of the Umbrian hills across to the Apennines mountains that become rose at sunset. This oasis of peace is only 2.3 km from the city centre of beautiful Perugia, and only 4 Km from both highways that lead to Assisi (26 km -15 minutes drive), Florence (130 km-1 hour drive) and Rome (180 km- 1.5 hour drive). This romantic and relaxing atmosphere is reminiscent of tranquil country life 700 years ago..The apartments style is strictly related to the Umbrian region, with old stones and original woods, hand made iron and high quality antique furniture. All apartments are recently renovated (2006) and have all modern comforts such as air conditioning, ADSL, (lcd) satellite TV , washing machine, dishwasher and oven. To enable a long term stay, each apartment has independent entrance, gas, water and electricity supply.
